Some rooms are maddeningly small, making movement impossible!!! Parking is an absolute nightmare with no on-site options!!! Poorly handled maintenance issues detract from the overall comfort!!! Temperature control in rooms is frustratingly inadequate!!!

I just stayed for a lovely 4 nights and was blown away by the amazing afternoon tea. the scones were absolutely the best! Plus, the tasting menu was an unforgettable experience. I would absolutely go back!

Historical architecture charm

my stay at the white horse was quite enjoyable. the location in the market place is fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. i was impressed by the excellent service from all the staff, especially the receptionist who kindly helped with my luggage. the dining experience also stood out, with a lovely restaurant offering a beautiful buffet and delicious dinner options, including the highly recommended steak frites!

The room had air conditioning, a cozy seating area, and a flat-screen TV. The shower had great water pressure. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring made-to-order options. The staff were attentive and quick to help with anything. Loved the charming decor that added to the historic feel.

Noise from a wedding party nearby made it difficult to sleep, and breakfast items were cold both mornings. Parking was also inconvenient in heavy rain, leaving me drenched upon arrival.

The charming decor and historic character made me feel right at home. The ground-level access to the main areas was especially thoughtful for seniors. I truly appreciated the comfortable seating and warm atmosphere while enjoying my stay.

More accessible seating options in communal areas would help.
