Historic architecture, charming decor, lively ambiance
Some rooms are maddeningly small, making movement impossible!!! Parking is an absolute nightmare with no on-site options!!! Poorly handled maintenance issues detract from the overall comfort!!! Temperature control in rooms is frustratingly inadequate!!!

The room was comfortable and the dining experience was excellent, with well-prepared dishes. the shower in my room had a clogged drain, which affected my stay. Noise from a wedding party nearby made it difficult to sleep, and breakfast items were cold both mornings. Parking was also inconvenient in heavy rain, leaving me drenched upon arrival.

missingWrote a review on 22 Marafternoon teacozy ambiancetop-class foodtemperature control
Afternoon tea served in a charming, cozy wood-panelled room impressed with top-class finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and a creative selection of cakes. The ambiance made for a delightful experience, far exceeding average standards of similar establishments.
Room temperature control left much to be desired, with guests reporting sweltering conditions despite attempts to cool things down. The absence of a mini fridge and subpar bathroom amenities, like missing bathrobes and poor-quality toiletries, hindered relaxation. the hotel's lack of food and drink options after midnight proved inconvenient for late-night cravings, particularly during busy weekends.
